Larry LaPlant started LaPlant Dental Lab in 1970. In 1976, Larry partnered with former co-worker Gary Joslin to create L.E. LaPlant Dental Laboratory Inc. In 1979, the lab was moved to its current location in the Oak Grove Professional Building at 1640 Main Street. The lab has steadily grown throughout the years.
The lab prides itself on the highest level of service, following strict quality control standards that have been in place since the lab’s creation. As the lab has grown, the use of new technology continues to evolve and improve our products. LaPlant Dental prides itself on introducing proven new technology and using those products to continue to set an industry standard in quality.
Tom Joslin
Owner/ Lab Manager
Tom has nearly 40 years of experience in the dental lab industry. He started his career with the encouragement and training from his father, Gary Joslin, who was the original partner to Larry La Plant 50 years ago. He is a gifted technician who strives for perfection in every case he works on. Tom is the lead quality control person for all outgoing products and consults with our customers on any and all matters of case planning and product selection. Tom looks forward to many more years here and genuinely enjoys the career he has chosen. |

Angie Hoey
Owner/ Digital Design and Ceramics Manager
Angie joined La Plant Dental Lab in 1999. Since then, she has gained an expertise in dental shading and ceramic artistry. Having attended many clinics and educational seminars to stay current with the ever-changing products and technology, Angie also specializes in digital design and custom milled implants. She has been at the forefront of the remarkable advances of CAD/CAM technology and is very skilled at the art of such design. Angie works directly with dental offices and their patients including in person or chairside shading and closely consulting on complicated and aesthetic cases. Angie enjoys spending time with her husband Jamie and two boys and has also been active in the WDA Mission of Mercy.

Jamie Hoey
Owner/ Lab Manager
Jamie joined our laboratory staff following graduation from UW-Platteville. With 20 years of lab experience, he has an attention to detail and dedication to the high quality standards La Plant Dental is known for. Jamie has diligently worked to perfect his skills in nearly every area of our laboratory technology. Jamie knows what it takes to make every case a successful one.
